In the northwestern half of Germany, temperatures will rise to between 20 and 25 degrees, while in the southwestern half, between 24 and 28 degrees are expected. On Monday evening, thunderstorms, some of them strong, are possible in the southwest, according to the DWD.

For Hesse, the DWD also forecasts unsettled weather. On Saturday, clouds will gather, rain will fall in isolated areas from midday, and short thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. On Saturday evening, the rain will intensify from the southwest. Temperatures on Saturday will reach between 20 and 23 degrees, and around 18 degrees at higher altitudes.

On Sunday night, it will remain cloudy in Hesse, and the rain will subside during the night, according to the DWD. On Sunday, the north of Hesse will remain cloudy, while the rest of the state will be mostly clear. Isolated showers may still fall on Sunday morning, after which it will remain dry. Maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 23 degrees.
