There, Femke Jovy emerged as the match-winner. She saved five Mannheim attempts. Friederike Heusgen converted the decisive penalty as the 13th shooter overall. "It couldn't have ended any better. It was amazing how we pulled together and performed as a team. I knew we could do penalties," Jovy said after the game. For the 13th shooter, it was also the last game of her active career.
