Los Angeles, 27 May 2026
Kenneth Iwamasa, the former personal assistant to actor Matthew Perry, was sentenced to over three years in prison by a Los Angeles court on Tuesday for his involvement in the ketamine supply that led to the 'Friends' star's death.
The court found that Iwamasa administered more than 25 doses of the anesthetic ketamine to Perry in the days leading up to his death in October 2023. The 54-year-old actor was discovered unresponsive in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home.
According to court documents, Perry had instructed Iwamasa with the words, 'Spritz mir eine Große,' which translates to 'Give me a big one.' This statement was cited as evidence of the actor's direct requests for the drug.
