Four minutes was all the thieves needed to empty the display cases of the Sant'Agostino auction house in Turin, making off with jewelry, watches and valuables with a starting value of approximately one million euros between 4:20 and 4:24 on Sunday, 8 June.

It was a professional "job" — the one carried out last night in Turin at the Sant'Agostino auction house. The perpetrators, captured by surveillance cameras, struck in the dead of night by forcing the security devices and, while the alarm was sounding, smashed the display cases with crowbars to snatch jewelry, valuables and watches. All in four minutes, from 4:20 to 4:24, as reconstructed thanks to the footage from the video surveillance system.
