The state festival Saxony-Anhalt Day begins on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:30 PM with an ecumenical service in Bernburg and will be officially opened at 3:00 PM; the motto is "Where Saxony Meets Anhalt."

Bernburg (Salzlandkreis) is hosting the 24th Saxony-Anhalt Day this year. The three-day state festival is under the motto "Where Saxony Meets Anhalt" and is aimed at visitors from across the state and beyond. According to the city of Bernburg, all events of the Saxony-Anhalt Day are free of charge.

The festival will be opened on Friday at 2:30 PM with an ecumenical service, before the official opening follows at 3:00 PM. Throughout the weekend, numerous artists will perform on several stages in Bernburg's city center. On Friday evening, NDW stars Paso Doble and Markus, as well as the Firebirds with a rock 'n' roll show, will perform at Rheineplatz.
