Before the Berlin Regional Court, a trial has begun against two sex workers who are alleged to have administered a local anesthetic to a man in a dominatrix studio in Berlin-Charlottenburg, after which the guest collapsed and died.

The women, aged 41 and 42, must answer for dangerous bodily harm as well as bodily harm resulting in death. According to the prosecution, they acted „grob sorgfaltswidrig" and disregarded the fact that intravenous administration of the substance in the established quantity „erhebliche Risiken für die Gesundheit und das Leben des Mannes barg".

The prosecution accuses the women of having acted in full awareness of the risks. The indictment further sets out that the administration of the anesthetic had been agreed with the guest beforehand. „wie mit ihm zuvor vereinbart, heißt es in der Anklage".
