TTC Berlin Eastside clinched their eleventh German women's table tennis championship on Sunday, defeating TSV Dachau 5-1 in the second leg of the Bundesliga final in Berlin.

The Berlin club, which had won the first leg 6-3 in Dachau on Friday, needed only five points from the return match to secure the title after a one-year pause without the trophy. They reached that target with a commanding performance in front of their home crowd.

The top players for TTC Berlin Eastside, Nina Mittelham and Yuka Kaneyoshi, set the tone early. After the two doubles and the two singles in the upper bracket, the pair had already secured three crucial points for their team.

Early Dominance by Mittelham and Kaneyoshi

With the foundation laid by Mittelham and Kaneyoshi, the responsibility fell to the lower bracket to close out the championship. Sabina Surjan and Natalia Bajor delivered the remaining needed points, sealing the 5-1 victory and sparking celebrations.
