Peter Phillips, nephew of Charles III, married nurse Harriet Sperling on Saturday in a private ceremony at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire, England.

The royal household had announced the engagement of the two in the summer of 2025. Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling, who will henceforth also bear the name Phillips, began their relationship in 2024 according to the BBC. Phillips had separated four years earlier from his first wife, Autumn Kelly. The 48-year-old is the son of Anne and her first husband Mark Phillips. Phillips carries no royal title following an early decision by Anne and her first husband Mark Phillips.

A Royal Wedding with a Family Background

The ceremony took place at All Saints' Church in Kemble near Cirencester. According to media reports, the wedding party included high-ranking members of the royal family. Charles III (77) and Camilla (78) were greeted with cheers upon their arrival at the church, as reports indicate. Also present were William (43) and Kate (44) as well as Edward (62) and his wife Sophie (61), who celebrated together with the groom's mother, Anne.
