Canadian forward Alex Killorn put the Ducks ahead 3-2 on a power play just two minutes before the second intermission. Nearly four minutes into the third period, American defenseman Ian Moore extended the lead to 4-2. These goals proved decisive for the California team’s victory.
Although the Nevada-based Golden Knights managed to score another goal, they couldn’t complete the comeback. This marked the team’s first loss in the series after previously winning two of the first three games.
Montreal Canadiens Dominate Buffalo Sabres
Meanwhile, the Montreal Canadiens secured a decisive 6-2 win in Game 3 of their series against the Buffalo Sabres. The Canadiens now lead the series 2-1.
