Federal Statistical Office: Share of women among habilitation holders declines slightly to 35 percent
In 2025, a total of 1,571 researchers in Germany successfully completed their habilitation, as the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports. The share of women, at 35 percent, has declined slightly compared to the previous year, while the number of male habilitation holders rose slightly.
