Zandvoort, 22 August 2026

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli posted the fastest time in the sole practice session of the Formula 1 weekend at Zandvoort on Friday, as teams prepared for the sprint race and qualifying on Saturday.

The session was the only practice opportunity of the weekend, with the remaining track time at Zandvoort dedicated to competitive running. Saturday's schedule opens with the sprint race at 12:00 local time, followed by qualifying for the Grand Prix at 16:00. The Dutch Grand Prix itself starts on Sunday at 15:00, with all sessions broadcast live on ServusTV and Sky.

Antonelli's benchmark was set on a representative set of Pirelli tyres, according to timing data distributed after the session. The Italian has enjoyed a strong run of form since the early summer and entered the weekend looking to convert one-lap pace into a qualifying result on Saturday afternoon.
