On Thursday, the Dresden Prosecutor General's Office had two men arrested in Saxony who, according to investigations by the Central Office for Extremism Saxony, are alleged to have been members of the Islamic State (IS) terror militia.
Charges and arrest
The Central Office for Extremism Saxony at the Dresden Prosecutor General's Office announced that the two suspects were arrested in Saxony on Thursday. According to the authority, they are charged with, among other things, preparing a serious act of violence endangering the state as well as membership in a foreign terrorist organization. As the Central Office for Extremism Saxony at the Dresden Prosecutor General's Office announced, the charges are directed against two Iraqi nationals.
