Aurora Ramazzotti marries Goffredo Cerza in Sicily after nine-year relationship

For the large celebration, Aurora Ramazzotti changed into a silk satin dress with crystal embellishments at the neckline, complemented by tulle and embroidered lace inserts. According to Vogue Italia, her wedding dress was designed by Giorgio Armani Privé and described as a modern reinterpretation of the dress her mother had worn in 1998 at her wedding to Eros Ramazzotti. Michelle Hunziker wore a summery azure-blue dress to the celebration and, according to those present, cried with joy. Eros Ramazzotti appeared at the party in an all-blue outfit and described the day as "Einer der schönsten Tage meines Lebens!". Mother and daughter shared a series of wedding photos on Instagram in the following days, where Ramazzotti, with 2.6 million followers, is one of the better-known Italian personalities.

Celebration at Castello Xirumi Serravalle

The main celebration on Saturday took place at Castello Xirumi Serravalle, a noble residence from the 16th century near Syracuse, which is considered one of Sicily's most popular wedding venues. Around 250 guests from music, fashion, and entertainment were on site, according to media reports. The published photos show, among other things, a multi-tiered wedding cake, fireworks, and a musical performance. The bride also shared videos of a lively celebration with music and singing.

The civil ceremony had already taken place on Friday, as several reports indicate. Hunziker had said beforehand on "Verissimo": "Wenn wir eine Party schmeißen, dann richtig" – an indication of the multi-day nature of the celebration. According to sources close to the family, the wedding festivities were also set to extend beyond the weekend.

Sicily is a recurring venue for prominent weddings this summer: at the beginning of June, British singer Dua Lipa had already married on the island. The center of her multi-day celebrations was the historic Villa Valguarnera in Bagheria near Palermo, which, according to media reports, attracted more than 200 guests. On the same weekend as Ramazzotti's celebration, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce also married, according to US reports.
