The Mannheim public prosecutor's office has charged a 38-year-old police officer from the Mannheim Police Headquarters with the strong suspicion of rape in two concurrent cases, after he is alleged to have forced two women to have sex during an identity check at a hotel in June of last year.

The Mannheim public prosecutor's office accuses the officer of having sexually coerced two women during a routine inspection at a Mannheim hotel in June of last year. According to investigators, the victims were a 22-year-old and a 29-year-old. The charges are based on two concurrent cases of rape.
