Paris, 13 July 2026
More than 35 states of the Coalition of the Willing met on 12 July 2026 in Paris to discuss further support for Ukraine in the war against Russia.
The Coalition of the Willing, an informal grouping of states that supply Kyiv with weapons, training, and financial aid, came together on Sunday in the French capital. According to Deutschlandfunk, more than 35 countries took part in the talks. At the centre was the question of how military and financial assistance can be sustained in light of the situation at the front.
Participants and Host
France, as host, held the chair of the consultations. Alongside European NATO members, representatives of the United Kingdom and other states that are not part of the Alliance but supply weapons or training also travelled to Paris. Austria has also joined the circle, according to information from the broadcaster, and is represented there by Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker, as the ÖVP announced.
