The German rail operator Deutsche Bahn has announced a massive investment plan aimed at revitalizing its railway infrastructure. Over the next decade, the company will pour €20 billion into station renovations, focusing on improving safety, cleanliness, and overall passenger experience.

Major Investment Plans

Deutsche Bahn will allocate €4 billion each year until 2030 for station upgrades, targeting 710 stations for comprehensive renovations. Of these, 130 are slated for completion by 2026. The initiative aims to address long-standing infrastructure deficits and enhance the quality of rail travel in Germany.

Focus on Safety and Cleanliness
