An ORF employee has leveled serious accusations against Director General Roland Weißmann, alleging among other things an affair with him, while Weißmann's lawyer rejects the accounts as tabloid nonsense and announces criminal legal steps.
The case surrounding ORF Director General Roland Weißmann has taken a new turn. As emerges from a statement of facts obtained by DER STANDARD, an ORF employee accuses the Director General of, among other things, an off-duty relationship. The woman, who according to her own account is appearing as a key witness against Weißmann, describes several personal encounters with him.
In one specific incident, in autumn 2022, the employee invited Weißmann to lunch at the Franz von Grün establishment in Arbesthal as thanks for a selection of photographs she had requested. The woman's account also describes further personal meetings and contacts that are said to have gone beyond a purely professional relationship. It initially remained unclear which of these allegations can be substantiated with evidence.
