According to RTL, the actor will stand in front of the 'GZSZ' cameras for the last time at the beginning of the coming year. His character is expected to remain on screen in the Berlin neighborhood until well into 2027.

He added that he was pleased the show could offer viewers an "absolute Spitzenstory" for his farewell, both with the current story about Zoe's death and the subsequent arc.
