A fire in a pellet storage area of the Dresden-Großzschachwitz heating plant injured a 59-year-old man late Monday evening and triggered a multi-hour fire department operation.

Situation at the Scene

According to the fire department, the fire broke out around 10:00 PM on Monday evening on the premises of the heating plant in the Großzschachwitz district of Dresden. The fire reportedly caught a pellet storage area in the plant. Emergency services responded with a large contingent to bring the flames under control.
