Brentwood, Essex, April 19, 2026 Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson's black Land Rover was stolen from her driveway in Brentwood, Essex, early Tuesday morning, with critical medical equipment for her twin daughters inside.
Theft and Appeal for Help
Jesy Nelson confirmed the theft in a public appeal, stating her car was taken "in the early hours of this morning" from her home in Brentwood. The vehicle, a black Land Rover Defender with the registration plate JJ73SSY, contained essential medical supplies for her daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, who have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1 (SMA1).
"My car got stolen off my driveway in the early hours of this morning, if anyone sees a black Defender reg plate JJ73SSY," Nelson said. She urged anyone with information to contact her or the police directly: "Please, if any of you have seen or know of any information can you DM me or contact the police."
The stolen medical kit is vital for the care of her twins, a fact Nelson emphasized in her plea. "I have so much of my girls' hospital equipment in that car that's really needed," she said. The theft has raised concerns about the immediate impact on her daughters' health management, as SMA1 requires consistent medical attention.
