LASK defeated Altach 3:0 (2:0) at the Raiffeisen Arena on Saturday, celebrating a commanding home victory in the fifth round of the Admiral Bundesliga.
In front of 12,659 spectators at the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz, LASK needed only a few minutes to steer the match in the desired direction. As early as the third minute, Christoph Lang gave the Linz side the lead. The striker took an early chance and provided the ideal start to the game.
In the 19th minute, Lang struck again and, with his second goal, set the course for victory at an early stage. With a comfortable 2:0 lead, the hosts controlled proceedings and did not allow the Vorarlberg side any notable attacking moves in the first half. Altach found few attacking answers to seriously trouble the Linz defense.
