LASK beats Altach with a commanding 3:0 and celebrates clear home victory

LASK remained the dominant side after the break as well. The Linz team managed their lead with composure and added one more in the closing stages: in the 89th minute, Florian Flecker made it 3:0 to round out the scoring. The substitute attacker capped an overwhelmingly dominant performance by the hosts.

For Linz, Jungwirth was in goal, with Mbuyamba, Tornich, Andrade, and Bello forming the defense. Schöpf, Horvath, and Jörgensen operated in midfield before head coach Markus Schopp introduced fresh impetus in the 64th minute with a triple change: Freckleton, Flecker, and Bogarde were brought on. In the closing stages, Schopp also introduced Dibango and Kane in attack.

Substitutions and tactical adjustments

Altach responded with changes of their own but could not avert the defeat. Massombo came on for the second half in place of Raguz, Hrstic replaced Diawara in the 62nd minute, and in the 77th minute Eisschill and Elongo-Yombo were brought on for Demaku and Greil. The Vorarlberg side, however, failed to find the net throughout the entire match.

The only minor blemish for LASK were two yellow cards shown by referee Harkam in the first half to Mbuyamba and Tornich. Altach remained without a booking in the statistics. Despite the cautions, the Linz side's home victory was never in doubt at any point.
