Pop icon Madonna kicked off Pride Month by giving a 15-minute surprise concert in Manhattan's Times Square on Thursday evening (local time).

The concert was announced on short notice and lasted about 15 minutes, according to media reports. Numerous passersby and fans gathered in Times Square to watch the free performance. The singer performed in New York in the early evening.

The setlist included the songs "Hung Up" and "I Love New York" from the 2005 album "Confessions on a Dance Floor." For the performance, the 67-year-old pop icon wore a pink corset, silver boots, and blue glasses. The event was organized in collaboration with the dating app Grindr, according to reports.
