The US software company Microsoft plans to release a Copilot "Super-App" this year, bundling chat, coding, cowork, and autopilot features for consumer and business customers into a single product.
Microsoft wants to bring its AI offerings closer together and has announced a Copilot "Super-App" for this year. The company shared the news and described the planned application as a central building block of its AI strategy. The goal is to make the previously distributed features available under a unified interface.
Specifically, the app is set to combine the Copilot chat assistant, the coding tool, the Cowork collaboration environment, and the so-called agent-based autopilots. The latter refer to AI agents capable of handling tasks autonomously. The consolidation eliminates the need for users to switch between multiple programs.
