In the northern West Bank, according to Palestinian sources, more than 100 Israeli settlers attacked several Palestinian localities, leading to clashes with residents and security forces.
During the attacks in the area around Nablus and surrounding villages, settlers threw stones at houses and vehicles, set fields on fire, and attacked residential buildings, according to eyewitness accounts. Palestinian security forces reportedly attempted to push back the attackers, while the Israeli military said it was operating in the region.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah said several Palestinians had been injured in the clashes, some of them seriously. Medical sources reported injuries from stone-throwing, beatings, and burns. The toll could not initially be independently verified.
