Title holder LASK must face Regionalliga side Deutschlandsberg in the second round of the ÖFB-Cup, as the draw on Wednesday determined.

LASK travels to Styria

The ÖFB-Cup drew its second round on Wednesday, setting the course for the next step in the domestic cup competition. Title holder LASK, who most recently won the cup, will face Deutschlandsberg away. This means the Linz side face a competitive fixture against the underdog that by no means promises to be a walk in the park.

Coming from the German-speaking region, Deutschlandsberg is a classic cup opponent. The Styrian club plays in a lower division but has often caused enough upsets in the cup competition. For LASK, the away task is a test of concentration: the squad is qualitatively superior, but slips at this level have not been uncommon in the club's history.
