Following the parcel bomb attack in a residential building in Monaco that left three people seriously injured, prosecutors have issued an arrest warrant against a suspect for whom Interpol is to issue an international search notice.

In the attack on Monday evening, a person had placed a package in the entrance hall of a small residential building in Monaco. Shortly afterwards, an explosive device detonated. The three residents – a couple and a 13-year-old boy – came home at the time of the explosion and were injured. All three were seriously injured by the blast.

According to multiple sources, the victims are 58-year-old multimillionaire Vadym Yermolayev, an entrepreneur of Ukrainian origin, his partner, and the couple's 13-year-old son. The Monaco prosecutor's office stated on Thursday that an arrest warrant had been issued against a now-identified person. According to French media reports, the suspicion is directed at a woman who may have disguised herself as a man.
