A police patrol stopped a drunk car driver on the B3 in the direction of Grein on Tuesday night, who had a blood alcohol level of 3.08 per mille according to the measurement.
A police patrol was alerted by an anonymous report about a white car allegedly driving in serpentine lines on the B3 toward Grein. The officers gave chase and were eventually able to stop the vehicle.
As the police reported, the driver from the Amstetten district was subjected to an alcohol test. The test produced a value of 3.08 per mille. The man's driver's license was revoked on the spot.

According to the current state of the investigation, the man first drove in serpentine lines on the B3 before continuing from the Danube bridge over the Kollmitzberg. The police spoke of a pursuit during which the vehicle was eventually stopped.
