London, 4 July 2026
Prince Harry will travel to London alone next week to kick off the countdown for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham – his wife Meghan and the children Archie and Lilibet will remain in California.
As sources close to the prince confirmed to the AFP news agency on Saturday, Prince Harry will fly to London next week – but without his wife Meghan and their children. The trip centres on the Invictus Games, which Harry founded in 2014 and which are scheduled to take place in Birmingham from 10 to 17 July 2027.
According to Harry's circle, the purpose of the visit includes several engagements, including celebrations surrounding the Invictus Games – the sports competition he founded for war-wounded veterans. It would be the first time in four years that the couple and the children have travelled to the United Kingdom – but this time Harry is making the trip alone.
