San Francisco, August 27, 2026
The US software provider Salesforce has raised its annual forecast, attributing the recovery to strong demand for applications powered by artificial intelligence.
The San Francisco-based company now expects higher revenue and profit for the current fiscal year than previously assumed. The upgrade of annual targets marks a turning point in the previously cautious expectations of investors and underscores the growing importance of AI technology for the group's core business.
A central role is played by so-called AI agents — software programs that can independently take on tasks and interact with users. Salesforce has massively expanded this technology in recent months and integrated it into its customer platforms in order to automate processes such as sales, marketing, and customer service.
