Rescue crews and drones spotted sharks off several beaches in eastern Sydney once again on Friday, meaning warnings in the area have now continued for four days in a row.

The incidents are concentrated on Tamarama and Bronte beaches in the east of the Australian metropolis. As reported by the New South Wales shark warning platform known as "Shark Smart," rescue crews and drones detected sharks off Tamarama and Bronte beaches in the east of the Australian metropolis early on Friday. Swimmers are no longer permitted to enter the water there while authorities continue to monitor the situation.

Other dangerous shark species are also reported to have been sighted. As early as Thursday, surfers had been ordered via loudspeaker to return to shore immediately after a shark was spotted in close proximity. Footage posted on the online platform "Drone Shark App" had in recent days shown, among other things, a great white shark off Bondi Beach, which is popular with surfers and tourists from all over the world.
