Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami last Saturday after the UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised further charges against the brothers, including rape, human trafficking and child pornography offences, and applied for their extradition from the United States.

The arrests of the two brothers, Andrew and Tristan Tate, took place on Saturday in Miami, in the US state of Florida. According to Bedfordshire Police, the men were taken into custody as part of an ongoing British criminal investigation. A spokesperson for the US Department of Justice confirmed to the BBC that the arrests were part of an extradition process. CNN reported, citing law enforcement sources, that the brothers are due to appear before a federal court in Miami the following week.
