The album's marketing campaign also works with the so-called "Bey Keeper Collection Box" concept, which according to industry sources was designed as an empty wooden crate, "designed to house and display your Beyoncé vinyl collection" and which was "handcrafted from solid pine wood, finished with beeswax oil, lined in deep green velvet, and fitted with a faux gator-skin leather carrying strap with gold hardware. With the unusual collector's item, those involved apparently want to physically stage the album concept as well.

References to the wedding are not appearing in Swift's work for the first time. Earlier releases had already processed the singer's private experiences, including the end of past relationships. The renewed reference to private happiness is interpreted by observers as a consistent continuation of this autobiographical line.

In parallel, Swift had most recently made headlines with appearances in Hollywood and at sporting events, including alongside close friends from the music scene. Among the named companions is also British singer Ed Sheeran, with whom Swift has already released songs together several times.
