Möllersdorf, July 1, 2026

During the night leading up to June 30, 2026, three teenagers aged 14, 15, and 16 from the Baden district set fire to a car, a waste sorting island, and a wheelie bin in Möllersdorf, and according to police, also damaged vehicles and a streetlight.

According to the Lower Austrian State Police Directorate, the offenses took place in Möllersdorf, Baden district, between approximately 2:25 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. During this period, there were multiple cases of property damage and fires. Three perpetrators set fires to a car as well as a waste sorting island and a wheelie bin.

As police confirmed, a streetlight was also damaged in the process. On vehicles, paint was scratched and motorcycles were knocked over. On one of the vehicles, a swastika was also carved into the paint. Because of this graffiti, investigations are being conducted under the Prohibition Act.
