The Ski Opening, now in its long-running iteration under Leutgeb Entertainment, combines free open-air concerts with skiing and après-ski programming. Organizers typically draw tens of thousands of visitors to the town over the event weekend.

Helene Fischer's booking was first announced earlier in the year, with her Saturday-night slot positioned as the closing headline of the four-day program. The Backstreet Boys are scheduled for the opening night, with Robbie Williams performing on the Sunday.

Local tourism officials in Schladming said hotel packages in and around the town were already moving quickly, and urged fans to book early. They noted that weekend rail and shuttle services from surrounding cities had been bolstered for the event.

Leutgeb cautioned that some ticket categories could sell out within hours once the sale opens, citing the experience of recent years. He recommended that fans log in early and have payment details ready before the sales window opens.
