In Graz on Wednesday morning, two elderly women were attacked roughly five hours apart in two different city districts, prompting police to release composite sketches and appeal for information from the public.
According to reports, an 81-year-old was first attacked at around 11:20 a.m. in an inner courtyard on Wilhelm-Raabe-Gasse in the Geidorf district. The perpetrator is described by the victim as approximately 30 years old, around 1.80 metres tall and "schlaksig".
Just under five hours later and only about two kilometres away, an 88-year-old was attacked in the area of Schrödingerstraße/Mariengasse in the Lend district. In that case, the victim described the attacker as approximately 27 years old and around 1.77 metres tall.
