Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of violating a cease-fire agreement, with both sides reporting intensified fighting and civilian casualties over the past 24 hours.
Escalating Frontline Clashes
The Ukrainian General Staff reported 147 combat engagements along the front lines in the past day, marking a significant escalation in hostilities. Russian forces allegedly targeted Ukrainian positions with sustained artillery and drone strikes, while Ukrainian troops responded with counteroffensives in several sectors.
In addition to the ground clashes, the Ukrainian Air Force stated that Russia launched 27 long-range drones overnight, targeting military and civilian infrastructure.
