14-Year-Old in Pre-Trial Detention After Armed Robberies and Violence Against Sister

As the investigations revealed, a previously issued restraining and no-contact order as well as a provisional weapons ban had shown no effect, according to police: „Ein bereits verhängtes Betretungs- und Annäherungsverbot und ein vorläufiges Waffenverbot fruchteten dabei laut Polizei nichts“.

In addition, the juvenile is alleged to have committed a robbery together with the two adults in June. „Er soll ebenfalls im Juni gemeinsam mit einem 30-jährigen Türken und einem 36-jährigen Staatenlosen auch bei einem Raubüberfall Bargeld und Suchtmittel erbeutet haben“, it was stated. The loot reportedly comprised cash and addictive substances.

Violence Against the Sister

A particularly serious accusation concerns his relationship with his own sister. According to police, all three suspects were uncooperative during their initial interrogations: „Alle drei Verdächtigen zeigten sich in ersten Einvernahmen nicht geständig“. Investigators consider this an aggravating circumstance for the further investigation.

From a legal standpoint, the 14-year-old accused is in a special situation: As a juvenile, he is subject to juvenile criminal law, but due to the severity of the charges, he has been placed in pre-trial detention.
