Investigators from the Criminal Department of the Linz City Police Command have solved a series of serious extortion offenses against a 13-year-old boy from Linz and arrested two 15-year-old suspects.

Five Months of Fear and Violence

According to police information, the 13-year-old from Linz in Upper Austria was repeatedly threatened, extorted, and coerced by a group of teenagers over a period of around five months. "Ein erst 13-Jähriger soll in Linz von mindestens zwei Jugendlichen mehrmals erpresst, massiv bedroht, beraubt oder misshandelt worden sein", the police press release stated. Over a period of five months, the boy was repeatedly forced to hand over money and valuables.
