A 37-year-old, who in the night to Tuesday in Kumberg near Graz is said to have inflicted such severe injuries on his eight-year-old daughter that the girl died at the LKH Graz, has been taken to the Graz-Jakomini correctional facility.
Following the death of the eight-year-old in Kumberg near Graz, the Graz public prosecutor's office has initiated the first investigative steps. According to the available information, the 37-year-old father of the girl was transferred to the Graz-Jakomini correctional facility. Prior to that, he had been held at the Graz police detention center.
The autopsy of the body revealed that the girl died due to massive blood loss resulting from cut and stab wounds. This means that the injuries were so severe that the body could no longer compensate for the blood loss. After the crime, the child was taken to the Graz State Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
