The Serbian full-back Aleksa Terzic is leaving Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and moving back to Italy.
The 26-year-old Terzic had been an important part of Salzburg's defense in recent years and had a regular starting spot in Austria. Now the full-back is returning to the Italian Serie A, where he had already gained experience.
As Salzburg confirmed on Friday, an agreement has been reached with Italian first-division club Frosinone Calcio regarding a transfer. Silence was agreed upon regarding the transfer fee and contract duration. In Salzburg, the departure represents another step in the ongoing squad overhaul.
Background on the transfer
Terzic had previously been active in Italy. Before his stint in Salzburg, he played for AC Fiorentina as well as for FC Empoli. With the move to Frosinone Calcio, the full-back returns to a league that is very familiar to him from previous stations.
