A 14-year-old returned safe and sound to her parents' apartment in Vienna-Hernals late on Tuesday evening, after her parents had previously reported her missing to the police.

According to a police statement, the 14-year-old did not have her medication with her when she arrived back with her family. The parents had previously reported their child as missing, prompting police to initiate a public search.
The incident occurred in Vienna's 17th district of Hernals.
