A nine-year-old who had been considered missing since June 29 in Vienna-Floridsdorf has reappeared safely after about ten days and is currently being cared for, according to police.

According to the Vienna Police, the search for the girl is considered successful. According to the authorities, the child had been reported missing on June 29 after disappearing the previous evening from a shopping center in the Vienna district of Floridsdorf. The police stated that the nine-year-old had reappeared independently and unharmed, without disclosing the exact location where she was found.

According to the circumstances, the girl had briefly separated from her caregiver on the evening in question. According to media reports, the child wanted to use a restroom in a Vienna shopping center at around 6:00 p.m. and subsequently did not return to her companion. The caregiver then raised the alarm with police at around 6:00 p.m. Vienna's Child and Youth Welfare Service (MA 11) is responsible for the girl's custody.
