Miami, 19 July 2026

Federal authorities in Miami arrested influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate on Saturday at the request of British prosecutors, who are seeking their extradition on charges of rape and human trafficking spanning 2010 to 2017.

The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed to The Associated Press that the brothers were taken into custody in Miami. A person familiar with the matter, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to publicly discuss the case, said the arrests followed an extradition request from the United Kingdom. The brothers are expected to appear in Miami's federal court early next week.
