Anna-Carina Woitschack storms to victory in 'Let's Dance' 2026 final with perfect scores

Rivals match the pace

Milano and Arndt matched the opening salvo with their own perfect 30 for a Tango to 'Integración' by Fabio Hager. Mabuse reported 'double goosebumps,' while juror Jorge González joked about feeling 'hormonal' shortness of breath from watching the fiery routine.

Joachim Llambi was equally enthusiastic, and the scoreboard showed another maximum. The pressure did not ease for Mattli and Dzumaev, who followed with a Quickstep to 'Wonderwall.' They too received standing ovations and a perfect 30, with Llambi saying he 'couldn't find anything to criticize even with a magnifying glass.'

After the first round, all three couples stood tied with 30 points each. The competition then moved to the favorite dance round, where Woitschack reprised her Paso Doble from show eight, performed to 'Malagueña' by Paco de Lucia.

Favorite dances and flawless scores

Llambi called it the best dance he had seen all season, stating: 'Wenn du mit diesem Tanz die Leute nicht überzeugt hast, dann weiß ich auch nicht mehr, was wir noch machen sollen - dann können wir nach Hause gehen.' The routine earned another perfect 30.

Mattli and Dzumaev responded with their Contemporary from show five, danced to 'Ordinary' by Alex Warren, which also received 30 points. Milano and Arndt brought back a Samba to 'Sua Cara' by Major Lazer, Anitta and Pabllo Vittar, a bolder choice that had originally scored only 25 points.

At 10:30 p.m., Llambi offered the first critical remarks of the evening, and the pair ultimately lost a single point, finishing with 29. The final Freestyle round saw Milano and Arndt choose an Elvis theme, performing to a medley including 'Blue Suede Shoes' and 'Can't Help Falling in Love,' earning 27 points.

Freestyle round decides the title

Woitschack and Vinokurov presented an unusual 'Puppenspieler' (puppeteer) concept, blending tracks from 'Enter the Circus' to 'Master of Puppets.' Llambi offered high praise: 'Für mich hast du alles erreicht. Ob du heute gewinnst oder nicht.' The routine secured her third perfect 30 of the night.

Mattli and Dzumaev closed the competitive dances with a Spiderman-themed Freestyle, featuring the 'Spiderman Theme' and 'Hero.' González told Mattli: 'Du hast auch wie ein Hero getanzt.' Mabuse denied them a maximum score, but 29 points still marked a strong finish.

Last year's winner San Diego Pooth, son of presenter Verona Pooth, assisted hosts Daniel Hartwich and Victoria Swarovski with the result envelopes. Swarovski described it as the closest decision in 'Let's Dance' history before announcing Woitschack as the new 'Dancing Star.'
