Monaco, 08 June 2026

The 19-year-old Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli won the Monaco Grand Prix on 7 June 2026 as the youngest driver and extended his lead in the Formula 1 World Championship with his fifth consecutive victory, as international press reviews unanimously report.

Already after taking pole position on Saturday, Antonelli had set the course for the most prestigious race on the Formula 1 calendar. On Sunday, the Italian converted his performance on the streets of the Principality into an undisputed race victory. La Gazzetta dello Sport spoke of "the most prestigious victory of his still-young career, which he achieved in Monaco after pole position and the race win" and noted: "Andrea Kimi Antonelli enjoys the most prestigious victory of his still-young career, which he achieved in Monaco after pole position and the race win."
