Five suspects aged between 16 and 22 have been arrested in France, approximately one month after an armed robbery of four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost on Lake Geneva.

The prosecutor's office in Pontoise near Paris announced on Monday that the five arrestees face charges of theft, kidnapping, unlawful deprivation of liberty, and gang formation. According to the information, Prost was the victim of a targeted robbery at his residence in Nyon, Switzerland, on Lake Geneva. The perpetrators escaped with the contents of a safe, including several luxury watches, according to the prosecutor's office.
