Arsenal Football Club has won the English Premier League title for the first time since 2004, ending a 22-year drought after Manchester City dropped points in their match against Bournemouth.
The Gunners secured their 14th league title in club history without even playing on Tuesday night, as Manchester City's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth mathematically confirmed Arsenal's championship with one game remaining in the season.
Arsenal had taken a crucial step toward the title on Monday with a 1-0 victory over Burnley, courtesy of a goal by Kai Havertz, while maintaining a four-point lead over second-place Manchester City.
The decisive moment came when Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi scored a stunning goal in the 39th minute against Manchester City. Though Erling Haaland equalized in the 95th minute, the draw wasn't enough for City to keep their title hopes alive.
