Austria fought back to claim a dramatic 3:3 draw against Algeria in its final group-stage match of the 2026 World Cup in Kansas City, and with that point secured Iran's elimination from the tournament.
Drama in stoppage time
The match in Group J offered little cause for excitement over long stretches, but found its dramatic climax in stoppage time of stoppage time.
