Austrians are divided on the question of how long summer holidays should last: According to a Marketagent survey of 1,000 people between the ages of 14 and 75, 49 percent consider the current nine-week holidays too long, while 43 percent feel the duration is just right.
The current summer holidays in Austria last nine weeks. A representative online survey conducted by the market research institute Marketagent among 1,000 people aged 14 to 75 has now examined how the population rates this duration. The result: Opinions differ widely.
While 43 percent of respondents classify the nine weeks as exactly right, 49 percent consider them too long. Eight percent would even prefer longer holidays. This means that just under half of the population is dissatisfied with the current arrangement.
