The German financial regulator BaFin has launched a review of the 2025 annual financial statements and the management report of pharmaceutical manufacturer Dermapharm after specific indications of violations of accounting regulations became known.
As investigations made public in mid-July show, the proceedings of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) are directed against Dermapharm Holding SE. The supervisory authority is reviewing the 2025 annual financial statements and the associated management report of the company, according to its own statements. The background is concrete evidence of violations of accounting regulations, as BaFin announced.
Background of the BaFin Review
Dermapharm itself has not publicly commented on the allegations in detail to date. The company announced that it would fully cooperate with BaFin and provide all requested documents. In an initial statement, it said it took the investigation seriously, but at the same time saw no reason to correct the previous business figures.
